A bold new brand for a borough on the move.
Wandsworth is a borough full of life, it is diverse, dynamic, and constantly evolving. But for years, its council stuck to tradition. That changed when they committed to a fresh approach, launching the 7 Rings, 7 Days guarantee to ensure faster responses and a more accessible local government. But, they needed a brand that would match this new era, one that upheld trust while embracing the energy and modern values of London.
The council were looking to refresh, and after seeing the Welcome to Wandsworth logo we designed, they knew they didn’t need to look further - they needed a Grandad brand.


Working closely with Wandsworth Council to understand their needs and wants, we crafted an identity that puts people first. The new logo - a bold ‘W’ wrapping around the text - symbolises the council’s commitment to surrounding the borough with support, ensuring residents feel heard, helped, and valued.
But a brand isn’t just a logo. It’s how people experience their borough every day. That’s why we collaborated with Wandsworth Council’s in-house creative team to bring the new identity across libraries, street signs, posters, and more, embedding a sense of connection and freshness into the very fabric of Wandsworth. And this is only the beginning, we are so excited to keep you updated on what’s coming next.
It’s been a privilege to collaborate on a project in such an iconic area of London, and we’re excited to continue as brand guardians for Wandsworth Council. The borough is evolving, and its brand is ready to lead the way.
