Empowering audience connections with innovative Spektrix integrations and refined filtering technology

Warwick Arts Centre is more than just a venue – it’s a vibrant crossroads where the arts lead to magic! As one of the UK’s largest multi-artform hubs, it brings people together. Here, connections spark ideas and understanding. It’s no surprise that it holds a special place, not just at the University of Warwick, but in the UK arts community as a whole!

Grandad is a bit maverick, a bit different. Their approach is a breath of fresh air.
Katie Anderson Marketing Director, Warwick Arts Centre

For over five years, Grandad has been Warwick Art Centre's long-term web agency. Our focus is on developing the Centre’s website and booking platform. We also look for ways to express the Centre’s ethos and strengthen its digital ties with audiences.

Our work began by activating Warwick Arts Centre’s new branding. We restructured the website to create a user-friendly flow that met users' needs. This also matched the organisation’s commercial goals. This project marked our first integration of Spektrix for Warwick. We added a new level of automation to both front-end and back-office systems and delivered a streamlined purchase flow using Spektrix’s iFrames.

Accessibility is a key focus for Grandad. Our ongoing efforts aim to meet the specific needs of the Centre’s diverse audiences in the digital space. Research and user testing have helped us understand audience behaviours. Combined with our accessibility expertise, we improved the inclusivity and user-friendliness of the site.

Our research and testing guided our latest collaboration with the Centre. We transformed the checkout basket into a custom experience that pushed the limits of the Spektrix ticketing platform. The result is a highly personalised and on-brand basket experience. It ensures clear communication during a key stage of the customer’s purchase journey. The new checkout basket structures information for better readability. It also aligns with users' mental models. Ticket information is the top priority. The purchase summary stays in view. Also, relevant cross-sells and upsells are shown clearly without interrupting the user’s journey.

35%
Since the custom basket went live, Warwick Arts Centre has seen a 35% increase in revenue via the website within the first quarter, post-launch, following a strategic review and repositioning of the ticket insurance offer.

Our ongoing partnership with Warwick Arts Centre shows our skills in the arts sector. It highlights our ability to deliver excellence and strong returns on investment. This also positions Grandad as a top Spektrix partner. Stay tuned as we keep pushing boundaries and innovating with Warwick Arts Centre.
