As the South Coast's leading multi-arts venue, hosting more than 600 events annually in its historic buildings, Brighton Dome isn't just another client - it's a cornerstone of the community we call home. So, when we became their digital partner, we couldn't have been more thrilled. Ten years later, that initial excitement hasn't faded one bit.
Our journey together started when Brighton Dome recognised the need to modernise their digital presence. The challenge was clear: transform an outdated website into a contemporary platform that would do justice to this magnificent venue's rich heritage while meeting modern audience expectations.
Working with Johnson Banks' brand work as our foundation, we crafted a fresh, rejuvenated look that breathed new life into the digital experience. But we didn't stop at aesthetics. We revolutionised the way visitors interact with the venue through a custom-built interactive touchscreen system, which quickly became the go-to resource for guests exploring events and venue information.
One of our most significant achievements was the seamless integration of the Audience View platform. This wasn't just about selling tickets - it was about reimagining how Brighton Dome connects with its audience throughout their entire journey, from discovery to post-event engagement. When we encountered limitations with Audience View's payment system, we collaborated to implement a unique payment service that ensured secure transactions without compromising user experience.
The website we created does more than just look stunning - it works intuitively. Through careful UX research and rigorous accessibility measures, we developed an intelligent filtering system that helps match curious visitors with their perfect events, making it easier than ever for audiences to discover the wealth of experiences Brighton Dome offers.
