Event & Service Upload Forms
Our Award-Winning work with Welcome to Wandsworth empowered local creatives to upload their own Fringe and London Borough of Culture Events. Inspired by this and encouraged by a goal to reduce administrative time, Wandsworth’s Family Information Service (FIS) came to us looking to implement our upload forms.
The FIS has a requirement to hold information on all service providers available to Wandsworth’s families. Before, meeting this requirement came with extensive manual admin, and with a goal to also display local events and share a wealth of advice, it wasn’t something that the FIS team could manage. That’s why we created Service and Event Upload forms. Local service providers can create an account and fill in an intuitive form, providing all of the information Wandsworth Families need to create a rich service or event page. Not only does this save the FIS team time, as now they can simply review and approve pages, but it also empowers local service providers.
Take a local childminder as an example. Their specialty is providing a safe and happy environment for the children under their care, not creating effective website pages and carrying out digital marketing. Being able to advertise their services on the FIS can bring in great business, and the upload form guides them towards creating an effective page. Beyond legal requirements, the form’s questions inspire the service provider to write content that answers questions and conjures trust and excitement in Wandsworth Families. Furthermore, updates are quick and simple, encouraging service providers and event organisers to maintain their pages.
Once created, these pages fit seamlessly into the FIS website, sitting in directories, findable through intuitive filtering and predictive search and showcased on editorial landing pages.
Overall, our Event and Service Upload forms save the FIS team time, time they can use to engage in communities, develop editorial content and make Wandsworth a Borough of confident families.
